The 2019 mockbuster Monster Island of The Asylum is ironically released at the exact same time as Godzilla King of the Monsters. The movie is about an Island called Monster Island where a monster can be discovered.


This movie is about an asylum and has a budget that's about the same as a large kid's meal. It makes good use of it. It has a very small cast of actors and the main stars are all on one set. This allows for all their sequences to be shot in lunch. The Asylum may not do so poorly with it, however, lest we forget this being the kaiju genre and well... that is sort of (Monster Island (2019) by Decker Shado) how they go.
